Under this scheme, the central government will carry out the audits of works being done in the previous few years. Initially, the central government will conduct this program in the states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh and then throughout the entire country. Gram Sabha meetings would be organized
Under Sabki Yojana Sabka Vikas Campaign, all the gram panchayats in 3 states will have to put up a notice board describing the work being done, funds received from all sources & allocation of funds. Apart from this, the developmental activities to be carried out in near future (FY 2018-19) are to be mentioned.
Sabki Yojana Sabka Vikas Campaign
The Central Government will conduct Gram Sabha Meetings in Gram Panchayats. In these meetings, all the trained assistants belonging to all 29 sectors of gram panchayats (11th schedule of Constitution) needs to be present. These sectors will include agriculture, rural housing, drinking water, poverty alleviation programmes, social welfare, cultural activities, market and fairs etc. Apart from this, all the Village ‘Sakhis’ or MGNREGA support staff can also remain present as assistants.
The assistants will have to explain the work done in the past few years and their near future plans along with the financial details. It is because the Gram Panchayat developmental plans have been largely unorganized. So, the central government wants these plans to be more structured with the involvement of masses. Through these plans, the all the people will be able to know about the developmental activities and the progress made in the previous years.
