Maharashtra Sabala Yojana – The State Government of Maharashtra has come up with two new schemes for the expectant mothers, lactating mothers and adolescent girls. The state government has named this scheme as ‘Sabala Yojana’ and ‘Amrit Ahaar Yojana’. These schemes has been launched in order to control the mortality rates of women and infants in the country.

The main motive of these two schemes is to provide nutritious food for the expectant mothers, lactating mothers and adolescent girls. In order to avail the benefits of this scheme, an applicant should have an Aadhaar card.

More than seventy percent of women in rural areas do not have ‘Aadhaar’ card, so they can not avail the benefits of these schemes. Many children and women will have to be deprived of basic facilities. Families with no evidence of homelessness, migrants and immigrants have the biggest harm. Anganwadi workers’ association general secretary Shubha Shamim said that this is a violation of the Food Security Act and the basic human rights are inaccessible. The organization has urged the government to cancel this order immediately. The main objective of this scheme is to improve the nutritional and nutritional status of children. Health activist Vinod Shinde expressed fear that the main objective of this scheme will be eliminated by eliminating malnutrition, which will increase the malnourishment, resulting in the elimination of children from education.
There is no government fund
The central government has been advised to provide benefit to the beneficiaries, who have been enrolled in the Sabla and Amrit Diet Plan, and have been linked to the Aadhaar card scheme from April 1st. Under this scheme, the benefit of the beneficiaries is not to get funds from the central and the state government without having to attach the Aadhaar card.
