The state government of Odisha is going to include 5 lakh new beneficiaries under its ambitious scheme “Madhu Babu Pension Yojana” under “PEETHA Scheme”. The main motive of the state government behind this inclusion of 5 lakh new beneficiaries under this scheme is that not a single eligible person is left out under social security scheme benefits. Apart from this, the state government has also announced that around 40,000 artist beneficiaries would also get pension under the Mukhyamantri Kalakar Sahayata Yojana.

Details Of Madhu Babu Pension Yojana Odisha

The Odisha Government is going to implement the PEETHA (People Empowerment – Enabling Transparency and Accountability of Odisha initiatives) scheme from 15 December 2018. The state government has launched the PEETHA Scheme under the flagship Ama Gaon Ama Bikash Scheme for creating awareness and transparency in the distribution of items under AMA LED, Mission Shakti benefits, Madhu Babu Pension scheme.

The State Government would organize camps at gram panchayat level and the best panchayat is going to get the reward of Rs. 5 lakh.

Madhu Babu Pension Yojana – 5 Lakh More Beneficiaries to be Included

Currently, there are a total number of 43 lakh Madhu Babu Pension Yojana beneficiaries in the state. Now, the Odisha Government will include over than 5 lakh beneficiaries. After this inclusion, the total number of beneficiaries will become 48 lakh. All these beneficiaries can avail their pension at camps organized at block level between 15th & 20th date of every month.

Under the Madhu Babu Pension Yojana Odisha, all the new beneficiaries would be added from 15th December 2018. Apart from this, the state government has also decided to provide monthly pension of Rs. 1200 to 40,000 artists under the Mukhyamantri Kalakar Sahayata Yojana. 

All the Unmarried women above 30 years of age belonging to BPL family and have individual income less than Rs. 24,000 per annum are also eligible under MBPY.
