Himachal Pradesh Sashakt Mahila Yojana For Rural Women Empowerment

Himachal Pradesh Sashakt Mahila Yojana हिमाचल प्रदेश सशक्त महिला योजना -The Himachal Pradesh Government has given its approval for the implementation of Sashakt Mahila Yojana in the cabinet meeting held on 20 November 2018 chaired by the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. The state government has launched this scheme for the empowerment of rural women for providing them an interface for organization and socio-economic development. Apart from this scheme, the state government has also taken various other social welfare measures to benefit every section of society.

Under the Himachal Pradesh Sashakt Mahila Yojana, the state government will appoint 1 women development officer and fill 2 posts of district coordinator. Besides this, the HP Government has also given its approval for the opening of a government pharmacy college in Seraj area of Mandi district.

Apart from this, the Himachal Pradesh Government gave its permission to create Sub Tehsil at Mandap in Mandi district. There will be a total number of 9 organization circles for the population of 12440.

HP Sashakt Mahila Yojana for Rural Women

Under this scheme, the state government will not only ensure to link rural women with sustainable livelihood opportunities but also to improve their skills by providing them with suitable training. Apart from this, the cabinet committee is also going to open police post at Yashwant Nagar under Police Station Rajgarh in Sirmaur district. The HP Government will also create 7 posts of various categories for providing benefits to 48 villages of the area. t.

The Himachal Pradesh Government has given its approval for filling up 54 posts of Junior Office Assistant (IT) on contract basis in Women and Child Development Directorate, Himachal Pradesh. The state government has approved filling up of 3 creche workers and 15 posts of creche helpers by Himachal Pradesh state council for child welfare under National Creche Scheme in different districts.
