Haryana Plantation Campaign – The Haryana Government is going to start Haryana Plantation Campaign for the environmental protection. For this, the state government will now seek the help of school students. To increase the trend of planting and caring of the plants, the students will be given 50 rupees every six months on every living plant.

The state government will provide this amount to the students for three years to take care of the plant. This decision was taken at a review meeting of five environmental friendly schemes of different departments headed by Chief Minister Manohar Lal on Tuesday.

Students Can Name the Plants

In this regard, the School Education Department will run Haryana Plantation Campaign in which students from the 6 and the 12th class of government and private schools will have to plant at least one plant. There are 22 lakh students in the state from 6 to 12th. In order to connect the students emotionally with the tree, the students will be allowed to be named the plant after the ancestors or celebrities.

Haryana Plantation Campaign Will Start from 10 July

The Haryana Plantation Campaign will start from July 10. The Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar directed the Education Department to submit a progress report every week in this regard.

Use of Plastic Bottles Banned from Wednesday

It was decided in the meeting that on Wednesday, glass bottles will be used instead of single-use plastic water bottles in the Haryana Civil Secretariat. In the past, instructions were given to restrict the plastic bottles of water in government offices.
