Chhattisgarh Mukhyamantri Public Cycle Sharing Scheme – The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Dr. Raman Singh has launched the masses’ friendly scheme ‘Mukhyamantri Public Cycle Sharing Scheme’ in Naya Raipur (Capital of Chhattisgarh). This project is cost-effective and environment –friendly.
Chhattisgarh Mukhyamantri Public Cycle Sharing Scheme
During the launching program of this scheme, CM Raman Singh distributed the ‘Cycle Sharing’ cards to the school children and inaugurated the health conscious project. CM said that riding cycles will help children and also elders in maintaining health.
The Naya Raipur Development Authority (NRDA) has sponsored this Public Cycle Sharing Scheme in Naya Raipur. Under this scheme, the authority will provide cycles at nominal rates.
During the launching program, the Minister of Housing and Environment Mr. Rajesh Munat, Naya Raipur Development Authority Chairman Mr. Aman Singh and other senior officials were also present.
Under this scheme, the state government will provide about 100 cycles to citizens. Apart from this, the authority has also constructed 10 stations where the cycles can be taken and left.
Mukhyamantri Public Cycle Sharing Scheme
The development authority has constructed about 55-kilometre ‘Cycle Track’ in Naya Raipur. The cycles which are going to be distributed under this scheme are equipped with GPS tracking system. The Control room in Naya Raipur will monitor these cycles.
In order to hire these cycles, the interested ones can make payments via App, Smart card, Log-in-Pin and Mobile phone. For this, you have to provide identity card proof.
After that, the company will verify the cards. Through this programme, the state government aims to encourage cycling in the city due to its low-hiring charges. It will save costs and conserve
